Day 01: Indore Arrival – Transfer to Ujjain (Overnight in Ujjain)

Upon arrival at Indore Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed to Ujjain (approx. 60 km). Ujjain is one of the holiest cities in India and home to the sacred Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. After check-in and rest, begin your spiritual journey with visits to Mahakaleshwar Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, Harsiddhi Temple, Ram Ghat, and Sandipani Ashram. Note: Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar is optional, requires prior registration, and incurs an additional cost. In the evening, attend the aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple for a divine experience. Overnight stay in Ujjain.

After breakfast, check out and return to Indore (approx. 60 km). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, enjoy local sightseeing including visits to Rajwada Palace, a historical landmark reflecting Maratha architecture, and Lal Bagh Palace, which offers insights into the opulent lifestyle of the Holkars. Also visit the beautiful Kanch Mandir, a Jain temple decorated with intricate glasswork. Spend the evening exploring Chappan Dukan, a famous food street offering Indore’s iconic snacks. After an early breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Omkareshwar (approx. 80 km one way), a sacred island on the Narmada River shaped like the holy ‘Om’. Visit the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Mamleshwar Temple, and walk along the ghats to soak in the spiritual atmosphere. You may also opt for a boat ride (optional) for a unique riverside temple view. After darshan and exploration, return to Indore by evening. Relax at the hotel or explore local markets. Today, embark on a heritage and culture-filled day trip. After breakfast, drive to Maheshwar (approx. 95 km), a town known for Ahilya Fort, riverside ghats, and Maheshwari handloom sarees. Explore the fort, Rajrajeshwar Temple, and enjoy a peaceful riverside experience. Continue to Mandav (approx. 65 km), a historical hilltop town famed for Afghan architecture. Visit Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, and Roopmati Pavilion. Enjoy scenic views and a blend of history and romance before returning to Indore in the evening. Overnight stay at your hotel in Indore.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue with remaining sightseeing based on your schedule. You may revisit Rajwada or explore local shopping areas like Sarafa Bazaar for souvenirs and snacks. Enjoy the unique charm of Indore’s food and culture.
