Detailed Itinerary : 04 Nights & 05 Days
Day 01: Arrive Khajuraho (Overnight in Khajuraho)
On arrival at Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is free at leisure. You may take a stroll through the nearby markets or attend the Sound & Light Show (optional) at the Western Group of Temples in the evening, which narrates the history of Khajuraho through music and lights. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 02: Khajuraho Sightseeing (Overnight in Khajuraho)
Today, explore the architectural marvels of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautifully sculpted temples. Begin with the Western Group of Temples including Kandariya Mahadev, Lakshmana, and Vishwanath Temples, celebrated for their intricate carvings. Later, visit the Eastern Group of Temples, including Jain shrines and the Parsvanath Temple. You can also explore the Tribal Art Museum or relax at your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 03: Khajuraho Sightseeing – Transfer to Panna (Overnight in Panna)
After breakfast, continue sightseeing with lesser-known yet remarkable sites such as the Southern Group of Temples or the Raneh Falls, known for its volcanic rock formations. Later, drive to Panna (approx. 45 km / 1 hour), home to the beautiful Panna National Park. On arrival, check in to your resort and unwind amidst nature. Evening is free for leisure or an optional nature walk near the park buffer zone. Overnight stay in Panna.
Day 04: Panna Jungle Safari (Overnight in Panna)
Rise early for an adventurous jungle safari in Panna Tiger Reserve, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. The park is home to tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and several species of birds and reptiles. Drive through dense teak forests and along the Ken River in search of wildlife. After the safari, return for breakfast and relax. You can also visit Pandav Falls or the Ken Gharial Sanctuary (time permitting). Enjoy your evening at leisure in the natural surroundings. Overnight stay in Panna.
Day 05: Panna – Khajuraho Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Khajuraho (approx. 1 hour). Depending on your departure time, you may explore local handicraft markets or revisit a temple complex. You will then be dropped at Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable heritage and wildlife tour of Madhya Pradesh.
