Burhanpur, on the banks of the Tapti River, boasts a rich Mughal heritage. Once an important trading and military center, it houses architectural gems like Shahi Qila, Ahukhana, and Jama Masjid. It’s also where Mumtaz Mahal died, linking it closely to the Taj Mahal’s story.
