Day 01: Gwalior Arrival & Sightseeing (Overnight in Gwalior)
Arrive at Gwalior Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will assist with your hotel transfer. Begin your city tour with the grand Gwalior Fort, followed by visits to Sas Bahu Temples, Teli Ka Mandir, and the Tomb of Tansen. Later, explore the luxurious Jai Vilas Palace and its museum, showcasing royal artifacts. Optional: Enjoy the Sound & Light Show at the fort in the evening. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Morena to visit the magnificent Bateshwar Temples, Mitawali, and Padavali, known for stunning carvings. Alternatively, take a full-day trip to Agra (approx. 120 km), visiting the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Mehtab Bagh. Return to Gwalior by evening. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
Check out and proceed toward Khajuraho, visiting Datia Palace, an impressive 7- story fort-palace. Stop at Jhansi to explore the historical Jhansi Fort, linked with Rani Lakshmibai. Continue your drive through scenic Bundelkhand landscapes to reach Khajuraho. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, explore the Western Group of Temples, including Kandariya Mahadev, Lakshmana, and Vishwanath Temples, known for intricate sculptures. Visit the Eastern Group, which includes Jain temples like Parsvanath and Adinath. Optional: Explore local museums or enjoy the Light & Sound Show in the evening. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Begin early for an exciting jungle safari at Panna National Park (approx. 45 km), a tiger reserve rich in wildlife and scenic beauty. Spot tigers, leopards, antelopes, and more. Post-safari, visit nearby Pandav Falls or Ken Gharial Sanctuary if time permits. Return to Khajuraho for relaxation. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, drive to Orchha (approx. 170 km / 4–5 hrs), a riverside heritage town. Visit the Orchha Fort Complex, including Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal. Later, see the iconic Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Raja Temple, and the Cenotaphs (Chhatris) along the Betwa River. Overnight stay in Orchha.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Gwalior (approx. 120 km / 3 hrs). En route, enjoy the scenic countryside or make quick stops for local shopping. On arrival, transfer to Gwalior Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable tour of Madhya Pradesh.
