Day 01: Arrive Gwalior & Local Sightseeing (Gwalior Stay)
Arrive at Gwalior Airport or Railway Station, where you’ll be warmly received and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, begin exploring the majestic Gwalior Fort, followed by visits to Sas Bahu Temples, Teli Ka Mandir, and the Tomb of Tansen. Later, visit the opulent Jai Vilas Palace Museum, which offers insight into royal heritage. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Morena, known for hidden architectural wonders. We start our day to explore The Eco Ghariyal Center (Ghariyal Breeding Center at Deori, Morena). Then visit the ancient Bateshwar Temples, the circular Mitawali Temple, and the ornate Padavali Fort Temple, often dubbed a mini-Khajuraho. Alternatively, opt for a day trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Return to Gwalior in the evening. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Orchha. En route, stop at Datia to explore the magnificent 7-storey Bir Singh Palace. Continue to Jhansi, visiting the historic Jhansi Fort associated with Rani Lakshmibai. Arrive in Orchha by afternoon and check in. Enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Explore the charming town of Orchha. Visit Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Raja Temple, and the serene Cenotaphs by the Betwa River. After lunch, drive to Khajuraho (approx. 170 km / 4-5 hrs). On arrival, check in and unwind. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Today, explore the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Temples, famous for their intricate sculptures. Visit the Western Group of Temples, including Kandariya Mahadev and Lakshmana Temple, followed by the Eastern Group of Jain temples. Optional: Visit Raneh Falls or enjoy the Light & Sound Show in the evening. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After an early breakfast, depart for Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 230 km / 5–6 hrs), one of India’s top tiger reserves. Arrive and check in to your jungle resort. The rest of the day is free to relax or enjoy a nature walk. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
Early morning, enjoy a thrilling jungle safari in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, known for its high tiger density, rich flora, and fauna. Explore the Tala Zone, spotting tigers, leopards, deer, and exotic birds. Return to the resort for breakfast and rest. Optional evening safari or leisure time at the resort. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
After breakfast, proceed to Jabalpur (approx. 200 km / 5 hrs). En route, visit Bhedaghat, famous for its stunning Marble Rocks, Dhuandhar Falls, and a serene boat ride on the Narmada River (subject to conditions). Continue to Jabalpur and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jabalpur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding a memorable tour of Madhya Pradesh’s rich heritage, wildlife, and natural beauty.
