Day 1

Arrive at Gwalior Airport or Railway station where you will be met by your driver. Transfer to Hotel, Post check in and fresh up, depart to explore the city of Forts. Visit Gwalior Fort. “Gwalior Fort is a hill fort near Gwalior city. Post fort visit, depart for Moti Mahal, a 19th century palace. Drive around or stop at Jai Villas Palace and Rani Mahal Palace. Time permitting, visit the tomb of Tansen. “One of the greatest musicians of India and en eminentvocalist in the courts of Akbar in the medieval period. Tansen was also among one of the nine gems of the Mughal court. Return to Hotel for night stay.

Day 2

Gwalior to Jhansi: 120 Kms + Jhansi to Orchha: 20 Kms

Or

Gwalior to Chanderi: 210 Kms + Chanderi to Orchha: 120 Kms

Morning after breakfast at 08:00 AM drive to Orchha. You can visit Chanderi which is famous of its hand woven sarees or Jhansi fort. Check in to your hotel in Orchha and after fresh up, the the Royal Chhatris at Bank of Betwa River, Visit Jahangir Mahal and later at 08:00 PM drive to Ram Raja Temple. In India this is the only temple where Lord Ram is worshiped as a king and that too in a palace. A Guard of Honor is held every day, police personnel have been designated as Guards at the temple, much in the manner of a king.

 

Day 3

Post morning time to take pictures on the banks of River Betwa. Depart for Panna National Park (3 hours). Check in to your jungle resort and evening at leisure. Overnight in Panna.

Day 4

Explore the flora and fauna of Panna in the morning Safari. Return back to hotel and relax. Optionally, you can also take the evening safari. Overnight in Panna

 

Day 5

Panna to Khajuraho: 30 Kms
Morning after breakfast drive to Khajuraho, Post check in depart for Western Group, Kandariya mahadeo, The largest and most typical temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Chaunsath Yogini is the only granite temple and the oldest surviving shrine of the group. Eastern Group, Parsvanath, Ghantai temple, Adinath temple etc. In the evening experience Sound & Light Show:
The Light and Sound show on the Western Group of temples complex the reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The
50-minute fascinating show is held in every evening and it runs in Hindi and in English Late evening return to Hotel for a night stay. Over night at Khajuraho.

Day 6

Check out and transfer to Khajuraho airport/railway station for onward journey
